To Recap for the benefit of those who have not been to Rhinebeck for a while, our 2010 show was one of the best in memory, There were new and returning exhibitors, some of whom we have not seen since the 1990's. More engines with attachments and larger engines (4 HP and up) were present. Many spectators came to view the machinery.
There are lots of grassy, level exhibit sites, access to clean, modern restrooms with showers and primitive camping for exhibitors.
Our host is the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (AMCA), which has rented the Fairgrounds to hold their National Motorcycle Show
and Swap Meet. This is one of the Largest such meets in the USA for 2011 and it is a family oriented event. Thousands of spectators are expected and many will be viewing our Antique Machinery Displays and shopping our vendors. The Machinery and Motorcycle exhibits are separated and in different areas of the Fairgrounds.
A General Spectator Admission charge of $15.00 per day or $25.00 for a weekend pass is charged, children under 13 years of age are FREE! The gate fee will be charged to defray the AMCA's cost of renting the fairgrounds. Again if you are Exhibiting, admission is FREE! So dust off that old tractor or antique engine and come join the fun, you DO NOT have to be a member of the Century Museum to display!
The Saturday evening Bar-B-Que will again be held. However, due to the rising costs and diminishing revenues, it has become necessary to ask $10.00 per person. If you wish to attend, please send by June 1st a check payable to Amy Boice, 90 North Cross Rd., Lagrangeville, N.Y. 12540 Contact Amy at 845-227-0433 if you have any questions.
Vendors will be charged $50 and merchandise must be directly hobby related. Show chairmen have the right to determine what is acceptable merchandise.
The antique machinery and truck exibits will again be held in the same location at the fairgrounds racetrack.
NO PETS ARE ALLOWED ON THE FAIRGROUNDS. FAIR MANAGEMENT POLICY.
Please review our safety policy or Contact Jim Boice at 845-266-5212 for more info.
