It is very important you have your photo ID Tags up to Date with a current sticker.
If you do not have a photo ID, please contact Jim Boice as soon as possible. You will not get admission to the fair with out your updated photo ID tag. You can get your ID Tag updated at the August 16th Meeting at the Fairgrounds, they can also be updated at the Fairgrounds office.
Your Time Is Valuable-Lets Schedule It!
This year we would like to try a new scheduling system at the Museum. Some of our volunteers thought it would be helpful to know when they were needed in a exhibit. This would elimanate having two volunteers come in to do the same exibit at the same time. We are hoping this will make Fair week more enjoyable for everyone.
Please contact the Exhibit Chairman to let them know when you would like to volunteer.

Anyone that has volunteered in the museum for the fair knows how much the public enjoys our building and that is because we have guidelines for the exhibits.
The museums time frame is 1870-1929. Some exhibits are specific years. Items in these types of exhibits should be close to the years stated. Of course many of our exhibits span our 1870-1929 time frame.
Costumes of the time period add so much to the museum. Many of our members enjoy dressing the part, but the costumes need not be too complicated. If costumes are not your thing, please dress conservatively if you volunteer in the building.
Chairpersons of exhibits should see that everything is in its place the Sunday before the Fair opens. No items should be brought in after that day.
Exhibits should be clean and neat for the entire fair. Items such as coolers, bags, cell phones and other items not of that time period should be kept out of sight of the public. Exhibits take time and effort. The overall effect can be ruined by items that do not belong.
